The Automation Script
Create a file named
faucet_claim.sh on your Ubuntu server. This script uses cURL to send a POST request directly to the faucet's API endpoint, bypassing the front-end UI.
Bash:
#!/bin/bash
# Target Faucet API and Your Wallet
API_URL="https://api.testnet-faucet.com/request"
WALLET_ADDRESS="0xYourWalletAddressHere"
# Perform the cURL request
RESPONSE=$(curl -s -X POST $API_URL \
-H "Content-Type: application/json" \
-d "{\"address\": \"$WALLET_ADDRESS\"}")
# Log the output
echo "$(date): $RESPONSE" >> /root/faucet_logs.txt
Setting the Cron Job
Make the script executable with
chmod +x faucet_claim.sh. Then, open crontab (crontab -e) and add this line to run it automatically every 24 hours at 01:00 AM:
Code:
0 1 * * * /root/faucet_claim.sh
