[ANALYSIS] Identifying Whale Accumulation Zones Using On-Chain Data

Technical Analysis (RSI, MACD) is a lagging indicator. On-chain analysis shows you what the smart money (whales) is doing in real-time before the price actually moves.

Top 3 Metrics to Watch on CryptoQuant/Glassnode:
  1. Exchange Outflows: When massive amounts of BTC or ETH leave exchanges (Binance, Coinbase) and go to cold storage, it means whales are holding, creating a supply shock.
  2. Stablecoin Supply Ratio (SSR): A low SSR means there is a large amount of purchasing power (USDT/USDC) sitting on the sidelines, ready to be deployed into altcoins.
  3. MVRV Z-Score: This metric compares the market value to the realized value. Historically, whenever the Z-score drops into the green zone (below 0), it marks a generational market bottom.
