[METHOD] Maximizing AdSense RPM for Tech & Forum Niches (2026)

Forum traffic traditionally yields lower AdSense RPMs than blogs. However, by optimizing ad placements and ad unit types, you can increase your CTR significantly without annoying your community.

  1. Above the Fold is Dead: Users scroll instantly on forums. Place your highest-paying anchor ads just below the first post of a thread, not at the very top of the header.
  2. In-Feed Native Ads: XenForo allows ad placements between posts. Inject native in-feed ads after the 3rd and 7th post. Make them blend perfectly with your forum's dark mode CSS.
  3. Disable Low-Paying Categories: Go to your AdSense dashboard and block "General" or low-tier ad categories. Force advertisers to bid higher for your tech/crypto audience.

Note: Never incentivize clicks. Google's 2026 AI detection will permanently ban your domain for invalid traffic.
